The Order of Economy is not an Inhibition
Since the issuing of economy order by the Central Government, people around the country make a sustained effort to practice strict economy. Measures of anti-extravagance and waste are taken; corruptible officials are punished; extravagant private membership clubs are closed. People applauded the achievement. However, one local governments in Jiangsu Province served “Qingfeng Steamed Stuffed Bun” to the representatives of two conferences (NPC and CPPCC); slogan and flowers are not allowed in all activities; the programs atmosphere of Spring Festival Gala in CCTV decreased greatly, from multi-rounds of parties to only one. We can see that the economy order seems become an inhibition.
I hereby suggest the related department to treat the economy order properly; improper expense of consumption, such as recreational activities and consumption using public funds, shall be banned strictly; but for activities where need proper expense shall not be miserly.The achievement from economic development shall surely be shared with the national citizens; reduction of public spending is not contradictory to the implementation of proper incentive and constraint mechanism.Spring Festival Gala is a cultural feast shared by all Chinese around the world for 30 years, and is also a large stage to show China’s cultural strength. We can see from the Spring Festival Gala before that hi-technology is consecutively used; new artist stars wen on stage; programs are innovated continuously; more galas are hold; civilians are enjoying more and more spiritual and cultural feast with high quality. Time is going forward, economy is developing and culture is progressing ahead. It is believed that people’s income will continue to grow. Prosperity and thriving of cultural activities is a common expectation of all Chinese around the world. The economy order shall not become an inhibition to reduce the Spring Festival Galas and program level.
As the new year is coming, with the deepening of reform, it is suggested that the related department to adjust their way of thinking properly and treat the economy order by a rational way. We are looking forward to it.
